The Brief
The US Army was seeking to find a new way to engage with prospects. They commissioned an interactive and immersive experience that lets you follow US Army Soldiers on a series of training exercises via a “choose your own experience” style VR Video application.
The Application also plays home to a series of ways to connect with recruiters as well as provides interested prospects with additional information on opportunities with the US Army.
The Problem We Set Out To Solve
The US Army was looking to expand their recruiting efforts at a national scale with an immersive media approach. The concept of “a day in the life” is a staple of their marketing efforts however, the time was right to introduce a new way to experience this story through immersive technology.
What We Delivered
The final product was a multi-platform 360º stereoscopic video whereby a user can choose to follow 1 of 4 soldiers through their training and simulation exercises. The product was delivered to the Oculus store, the iOS and Google Play stores as well as a mobile-first website.
